Just tape off your valvecover and paint it gold. You don't even have to pull it out of the engine bay.

 

Choosing either of those will be very costly. I would probably look at DC or Skunk2. They're a little cheaper but it depends on the look you want. I like the DC spark plug cover and battery tie down in chrome with maybe the Spoon oil and rad. cap. Oh..don't forget the Spoon socks.

 

Yep it is costly, but I still did it on my car. Well on my Si which was totalled 2 months ago but still cool to have. how about GM oem parts?

 

Good choice FB. But, it's a waste of time to dress up your engine bay with APC stuff unless you put an APC banner or some stickers on your car. How else would anyone know you're rockin' APC performance parts under tha hood.

Why even waste the money and time dressing up the motor, just slap on the banner and some biga55 stixoRz and youre all set.

Now, if you drove around with one of those clear plastic hoods or better yet, no hood at all, I could see rockin all the APC/Autozone engine bay dress up crap.

 

Both.

Certain things from one of the companies are better than the other.

Such as:
Street thermostat stuff Mugen &gt; Spoon
Strut bars Mugen &gt; Spoon
Socks Spoon &gt; Mugen
Header Spoon &gt; Mugen
Oil Cap Mugen &gt; Spoon
Intake Mugen &gt; Spoon

both Spoon and Mugen parts are great..some part spoon is better..some others Mugen is better..ya like a Mugen intake is better than Spoon filter..lol
also i like things about Mugen is that Rim says Honda "ONLY"

 

I find the fit/finish of Mugen products exceed Spoon.

Ive kind of got a Spoon, Comptech, Skunk 2 thing going on under my hood. Not one company has everything I like a whole lot so I pick the best from a few manufactures. If I could only choose between Spoon or Mugen I pick Spoon cause I already got the yellow Spoon valve cover and because mugen parts are too expensive.

Check out ebay and search for TypeR dress up and get all those snazzy red or blue anodised bits and bobs if thats what you really want, then get spoom or moogen stickers and put them on all the bits you fitted...no one will ever know the difference....i swear!

my dirty adidas socks perform and fit better imo, but the quality just isnt there. hopefully adidas can correct this in future versions.
