Default Dyno results at 13 psi with T60-1 with .96AR

First of all, car is a 92 volkswagen gti VR6Turbo. don't really feel like listing the specks but will if asked. Went to EIP yesterday and had them dyno my car. Big to Rich for helping me out and giving me some advice/tips with the car. Wanted to check power numbers and also how the a/f is and comparing it to my wideband. Its getting a little lean up top. Going into the 13's around 6750 rpm. Im limited to 13psi right now, because im still using the stock fuel pump. During the winter, ill be doing a cell and some other things so I can run more boost. Well, here's the dyno at 13psi.

Just got home from the track and ran a best of 13.14@120.7 mph. Drew let me use his slicks, thanks a lot man. But they did not fit, they rubbed on my fender. So I had to still use the 14" all season tires I had been using. I was actually pulling a 2.1 60ft. which isnt that bad on those tires. No traction in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd i just barely started to hook up. Here is a pic of my car with the slicks, and also my buddies car with the 300zx and the turbo eclipse. 300zx put down 320whp and the eclipse 301whp.

the car may could run 11's but the trap speed will drop a lot once it hooks up

when you spinning a lot the trap speed will go thru the roof

Yo dawg, you'd show him up in your turbo crx with non vtech and drag sliks and all the carbon fiber you could want and your uberdata with an onboard laptop!!!@!@#21212! **** off, go learn how to write complete sentences, and go back to telling all your homies in the 11th grade how you're gonna have mad power in your CRX.

Anyways. Any particular reason for running the .96 A/R exhaust housing? It seems like a .81 or even a .68 A/R housing would flow enough air for a 2.8L motor not even turning to 7000 RPM's, the .96 A/R just seems like it's giving you additional lag for no good reason. I don't really dig the intercooler and charge pipes hanging out in the middle of no where, but that car has some serious ***** to back it up

I went with the .96 AR exhaust side for more top end power. As shown, the VR6 motor puts down a lot of torque. I think if I went with a housing any smaller, I would be spinning that much more in the lower rpms, and would be making too much torque in the lower rpm's. Today at the track, I was spinning through 3rd, and the top end is amazing. Also, the motor is a 3.0L bored out from a 2.8L with JE pistons at 8.5:1 compression. And also, a sad thing. I broke my car today at the track. The shift linkage broke right in half. It sucked that I had to drive home in 3rd gear.

Oh and for that dude that has just **** to talk. I dont understand why you hate on other cars, just because its not a honda. I enjoy all cars that can put down a low e.t. and or have the horsepower to back it up. And the ls non vtec turbo motor that you say your going to be putting in your rex. I doubt it will happen with in the next couple of years. You have to have money to spend it. And obviously, your a high school kid that works part time at Taco Bell, so the income isn't their yet. Either way, have fun and in time you too will see that the stupid remarks you have made just dont make any sense. Oh and please learn to spell. What are they teaching you in school these days? And wish me luck guys, tomorrow I ship out for basic training in the Army. Then specialized training in the field of tank mechanic.

what track is that? looks like 75-80 up in MD... if so, go race at another track because that track is shitty as hell and going to be closed down soon so they arent even fixing the track at all..

With a 120 MPH trap and some more traction, 11's are totally possible.

thanks. i've always wanted to build an hf crx with an h22 all motor. either way, im happy with my decision. and no, it did not come with a vr6. it came stock with a 1.8 8v that came with i think 95 hp at the crank

And yeah, that is 75-80. I usually race at capitol, but the yhad the imports vs. domestics race on saturday. Unfortuantely, it got rained out. So I had a rain check to race any other time. And since im leaving on monday for the military, I thought i might as well use it.

and here's a motor shot from about 2 months ago

saw this car in person. Clean set-up and seem like nice guys. I can relate to the traction problems too my b16-T hatch couldn't get out of the 14's that day. Hope to see this car soon!
