That's what we like to call a typo. Figure 4500-5000, not 3500.
If you have a 67 trim wheel that does not make it a T67. The T67/TO4R compressor wheel is 63 trim, not 67 trim. Clarify what turbo you have a little better.

Till? Are you saying you have been hearing SC61's dont make ANY boost until 5,000RPM? If so you have been hearing wrong.

i think jordo means its making some boost by 3500 rpm...5psi is bullshit though imo.
maybe a couple of psi ..then building to full boost by 5500-6k ish.

if jordo got on it at about 2500 in fifth gear I wouldnt be that suprised it if spooled a few pounds by 3500, it will never hit that in first or second gear
dude i **** you not, i would get about 5psi in like 3rd gear around 3500rpms, then full boost by 4k..
i only had the car running like that for 2 days though

I have a compressor 70 a/r and 84a/r hot side with a 64.5 trim ballbearing turbo and was at 10psi at 4k. gotta love BB turbos
This was on my b20b4.
when getting on it at a roll it would boost pretty much instantly to full boost.
What kinda turbo is this?

its kinda a mix of things...it has a chrysler center section (T3) and i have a Volvo turbine housing..>63Ar and i just got parts from turbonetics...67mm compressor wheel and i think 63 trim .70ar...

T3/T67, to me, usually means they're running a T3 exhaust housing
Having driven a straight PT67 P-trim setup, I can say that there is no chance of a PT67 making 7 pounds of boost at 3500, or 4000.

To be honest I have yet to see one in person on a D16.

I would really like to see a map that shows how this turbo is effiecient. the T3 wheel speed would be insane with the compressor pushing anything higher than about 8psi or so

Thanks, man. I'm really wanting to run the T3/T67 on my RX-7. I think a .63 a/r turbine housing with a stage 3 wheel would spool up early enough to make it flexible enough for the street.

yah it's not a bad choice for a fully built d16... as long as u have a 3" downpipe... my 2.5" kiiiiilled me. i got full boost @ 5000-5500 rpm but i was spinning it to 8000-8500
