Taillight/plate light fuse keep blowing! just got an alpine headunit installed help!

Default Taillight/plate light fuse keep blowing! just got an alpine headunit installed help!

My tailight/plate light fuse keeps blow, and I have checked all the wires behind the headunit, all taped securely. I put another fuse in, and it blow again. Please give advice on whatelse I can check!! Really need help, can't drive without taillight/plate light in nights!

Really need help, can't drive without taillight/plate light in nights!</TD></TR></TABLE>If this started after the Alpine HU was installed , I would say it has to hsve something to do with the install, maybe miswired, try this, unplug the HU, replace the fuse and see what happens, if it still blows I dought its the wiring, but check and make sure that the OEM dimmer wire in the OEM radio harness is wired to the orange/white wire of the Alpine harness,[if it has one] if its not being used, make sure you cap or tape it off so it can't short out. 94
