My tailight/plate light fuse keeps blow, and I have checked all the wires behind the headunit, all taped securely. I put another fuse in, and it blow again. Please give advice on whatelse I can check!! Really need help, can't drive without taillight/plate light in nights!

 

I am not sure... but it is a bit odd because the lite eliment will usually fry before the fuse even begins to think about it

 

Sounds like a direct short. Check wiring. If you can't locate it, run a new wire.

 

that fuse also shares with you interia lights and tunr signal check your bolbs make sure you have the right ones once i had 1157 inted of 1156 it shorted out my whoel system, kept blowing fuses. final after 4 hours i relize the solution

 

How do I check and run the new wire? and what wires to look at? Do I just trace it? or any other ways to check the wire if it's malfunctioning!?

 

try removing all the light bulbs on that circut and then install them one by one until the fuse pops again. that will tell you which socket is shorting out then you can trace the bad wire.

 

what kinda blow, instant blow or after a while, instant blow is definatly a short in the wires, if it takes awhile, just up the fuse 5 amps, the metal in ur fuse, (even if its 5 amps higher) will still blow way before u melt anything or do damage.

 

Before it wasn't instant blow, but now it is. When I changed the fuse first time, it blew after couple days, but now it blows right after I replace new one, any advice on where to check!? tks alot guys.
