Does anyone know at what mileage is recommended to change a cars timing belt?
And also does anybody know how much is it including paying someone to put it on?
like about how much the prises are?

It should be around $400-$500... more if you also get the water pump replaced (more parts and more labor).
I have seen some places run specials to change the timing belt for under $400.

damn 60K on a GSR??? where'd u get that info from? every 90-100K sounds right to me.
the hardest part about change n the timing belt is removing that crank pulley bolt. if u dont have an impact gun then it's gonna be pretty hard. u need to find a way to hold the crank pulley in place in order to loosen the bolt with a breaker bar. they make a tool that fits inside the crank pulley so that u can hold it in place. people also use this tool (dont know what it's called) that looks like a vice grip but has a chain that u wrap around the pulley to hold it in place.

The first timing belt change on my Integra costed me nearly 7 bills at an Acura dealership around New Orleans, but I have learned. This did include all the other belts and water pump, but after doing it myself, I will never pay out like that.
For the cost of a decent electric impact and all of the parts, you can do it for $350ish and learn a lot about your car. If you ever plan to do any sort of upgrades to the motor (cams and such) it's not a bad thing to do. Of course, it's one of those things that if you screw up, it can cause some serious issues.
