I agree with the others when they say practice, practice, practice! I own a B16A with CTRs puttin down 161Whp and 112Tq. I have a quaife LSD on Azenis tires and my best 60 foot is 2.3. I need to learn how to launch the car better, I should have a lot better 60s. I was lettin the clutch out at about 5 grand and no tire slip, just need to learn no to be a punk and let the clutch out faster and get on the gas faster.

Just need to learn different luanch points.

What ticks me off is my boy has a BONE stock B16 in his Rex and he pulls 2.2 60s with no LSD.

You should have put this in the Drag Racing forum. You would get some good tips.

on 14" azenis i usually cut 2.1 60' times, last weekend at bradenton's drag track i cut a 2.0 60' time. practice does help, so does dropping the air pressure on the tires.

There are a couple of other things to consider. First, try getting a bushing kit. This will stiffen up your suspension and reduce the lag between your wheels going foreward and the car starting to move foreward. Another thing to do would be to adjust your camber. This requires a kit on most Hondas. But it can very significantly improve your contact patch. This is especially important with swapped Civics, as the extra weight of a B-series engine tends to make the front end sag, increasing negative camber.
