Well I replaced the transmission with a 2001 JDM R trans that actually has less mileage than the car (by 1/2!!) Also put in a clutchmasters 8lb. flywheel while I was in there~

Car feels great. Throttle response is *drastically* improved thanks to the flywheel and outright acceleration is fun again (for now . . . .), thanks to the 4.785.

nice pics man! I love my flywheel, Its the toda 9.x lb though. I bet the 8lb'r is nice though.

Man it spins up like crazy!! I have the 4.785 with *US* r gears in my EG, and the R sure feels a *lot* closer to the EG in acceleration now. I hit VTEC in first and the tires break loose easy, spin all the way into third if I stay hard on the throttle . . .

Very worthwhile . . .

Heh heh I got a pretty good deal.

With the sale of the R trans, and the R flywheel, I paid a little under $200 for the whole project~

 

I heard the top end speed is only 110 mph with the JDM gears. Have to toped it out yet?
