1995 honda civic

My front hood got sat on and is now stuck closed, The cable release does nothing could be snapped. does anyone know how to open the front hood now?

Try sticking your hand through the front grill and then yanking on the cord itself. The latch sometimes doesn't work on a civic. Other than that, this is the Accord forum. (Good thing I own both cars!

)
