Default Buddy Club Spec 3's DYNO

I was surfing the Buddy Club site and i found a Dyno. I'm not sure if this has been posted before or not.

The engine test was a B16A.

The Base line was done with GSR cams and GSR Header
The second done with Buddy Club Spec III plus and GSR header.

Both the HP and torque curves are so smooth.

I have sent in a request to BC US trying to get more information on this dyno test. This dyno has been posted up on the other BCIII and BCIII+ threads though.

for "just" those mods on a i'm assuming this point a stock b16 those look way to doctored up. both graphs actually. my opinion i rarely ever listen to a manufacture claim. but get more info on it. if it's a stock block b16 123.8 and 129.4 whtq looks like a 1.8 motor.

I wasn't sure if it had or not. I read on their site the Spec III's are made to handle 10.1:1 all the way up to 13:1 That covers almost any Honda motor built/wanting to build. Most street set-ups will never go past 12.1:1. If i could get my hands on some BC III's i could convince someone to throw them in their 12.1:1 LS/Vtec and Dyno against the Skunk 2's

123 Whtq seems about right for a B16.....my friend with his B16 with I/H/E just put down 116 Tq. 123 seems about right for GSR cams.

That graph might be good for before/after comparison if that. Those baseline numbers for a B16 are outrageously high for wheel horsepower and torque from a stock bottomed B16 if that is what is claimed.

so i guess thats the trick to tuning a b16 with stock bottom end with cams, huh??

peak at 8200 and no higher.

if you look at the chart, its making 150 hp at 6000 rpms. i have never seen that out of a b16.

Is the changeover at about 6000????

And 129 tq is really alot. The tq curve starts dropping at about 5800. Nice chart though.

I think the motor has more mods, internally, but they just showed compare to gsr camshafts.

Alright, I have heard from BC on these plots, and they claim Omniman performed the dyno tests, so I have contacted Omniman and am awaiting a response from him. Hopefully, he doesn't forward me to someone else. As he is the 3rd person already.

thats alot of torque 4 a b16 stock bore, wonder if its bored out? If thats stock bore, then screw ls/vtec when u can make that torque out of a b16

there is no way that block is stock, my 84mm piston b16 only put down 126 wtq, 129 I dont care what cams that is not a stock size piston in that motor.

that motor is not a b16.. no way.. look at the hp/tq at 5252.. its like 115-120. thats crazy.. omnimans 200whp b16 only put down around 100 at 5252.. there's no way that car is a 77.4mm crank 81mm bore b16
