Default New Clutch

Lately I've been noticing that my clutch was slipping alot and I could smell it, it was getting worse and worse.

So last night I installed an ACT 6 puck unsprung with heavyduty pressure plate and Defcon-Racing 8lb flywheel. WOOOOOOOOOW what a difference it's like night and day. Completely new car. I redlined 3ed gear and chirped 4th hard. Not that that matters but this clutch grabs like crazy.

The old clutch was in bad shape with material pieces missing and the springs were loose.

I will never drive on a stock clutch again I love this thing.

I have ACT clutch in my Car, i can tell you what a nightmare it was to try to learn how to drive stick on that thing. Stalls every stop sign.

but now i feel the power of a stage 2 clutch.. it's awesome... catches really fast.

You know you should always break in a new clutch by driving normal for around 400 miles before getting crazy with it.

Not on this clutch it says right on the box "no break in period". Actually that's not an exact quote but it's the gist of what it says

I didn't stall it at all but I'm sure if I was LEARNING to drive standard on it then I would have stalled like crazy.

I love the 8lb flywheel too, revs up really fast and sits completely normal while idling at a light.

I highly recommend it.
