Default IB project motor dyno inside.

This motor has taken longer to build than anything I have done before. I am still waiting on a GSR head that I sent back East in February. The motor:
GSR block-sleeved by Dan Benson to 86mm.
Crower 92mm crank.
Cunningham LS length rods.
IB Spec Ultimate Wiseco 86mm pistons.
The head is a B16a head ported by Tom at Portflow.
Portflow valve springs. Portflow retainers.
JG custom sheetmetal intake manifold.
RPM 74mm throttle body.
RC 440cc injectors.
Hondata tuned by IB Jeff (thanks for all of your hard work buddy )
Custom Prototype Racing intake.
Hytech big tube Type-R header.
Two sets of cams.
Toda 'D's fully tuned on run #23.
Swapped in some Skunk 2 Stage 2 cams on the dyno and tuned them until we got run #34. Not a world record, but I am happy with the results for now.
Peak hp:255.9
Peak torque:175.1

We dynoed this motor back in September with a stock ITR intake manifold, and it made killer torque (178 ft.-lbs.) at about 5,200 rpm, but the motor was suffocating at high rpm. The change to the custom JG intake dropped the peak torque a bit, but upper rpm power improved dramatically.

I would like to thank Jeff at Import Builders (again) for all of his help with this project, Tom at Portflow for a great deal of last minute help when I needed a head done (Tom, you are the man!), Dan Benson for another killer block, and Eugene at Prostreet for letting us monopolize his dyno for so long. Thanks again everybody who helped out

Awesome #s Todd. I'm really interested in seeing the power output when you get the RLZ head

I was thinking the same thing. And an AEM EMS for good measure.

maybe you should try BC 4s since they destroyed skunk2s on Tbone's motor.

Yes but the sk3's killed the sk 2's on my motor beforehand.
I beleive Jeff has better luck with the skunk 2's over the 3's though.. Just goes to show what works for one wont always work for the other.

Good Job Todd and Jeff sick tq

Nice, what were you aiming for? I would have thought the HP numbers would have broke 260's, but they are still very nice none-the-less.
