Default What is causing this strange noise is is brakes, axles, tranny, or suspension? And a definite brake

Well not to long ago I did a rear disk conversion on my 98 civic. With the conversion i put brembro rotors all around and axxis ultimate pads. I also install a set of tein flex coilover kit. Also while i was doing all of this work I noticed that my axles was going bad so i replaced them with some autozone specials.

Now here are the problems:

First my brakes squeal all the time. I think its just the rear though. They squeal while i'm driving but when i apply the breaks they usually stop making noise. When i got the rear disk conversion it came from a junk yard and the calipers look really corroded but i cleaned them up and they work.

The next problem is that when i'm coming to a complete stop i putt the clutch all the way in and put the tranny in neutral but when i apply the brakes just before i stop i hear this funny noise form the front. It kind sounds like when stuff in your trunk slides up and hits the back of your seat. Though my trunk is empty and the sound seems to be coming form the driver side but i'm not sure. I want to make sure its not a axle, brake or a transmission problem. As far as transmission i have no grinds in any gears.

Thanks for taking a look

As far as the squealing, being from a junk yard, the calipers may have sticky seals, making the piston not retract enough. On the other hand, your pads may be like mine, they squeal all the time until I apply the brakes, then you forget all about it...

The first thing I would check regarding the clunking noise would be the front end. Check all the ball joints and suspension bushings (including the strut mounts). Also check the tie rods while you're under there. When these get loose, they like to shift around as the vehicle's weight transfers under braking/cornering etc.
