if anybody could help me out, what would be the best type of engine with the least amount of hassle into my 99 accord the h22, or h23? also if anybody knows what adjustments would be needed to make to make it fit?

adjustment? it's not like you put on an intake. you are talking about a whole engine swap.

it's been done before, you should be fine with the motor but you'll need to get some motor mount depends on you have an auto or manual or not..

h22&gt;h23 unless you going for boost

you do realize an h23 is going to be ATLEAST 3 years older than your car and is only a 10hp gain

 

but h23 is still a good choice if you find low mileage one since they are closed deck and can be turbo'd without having to resleeve. (there's an ongoing debate as to whether you should sleeve h22 for turbo or not and the larger opinion is to do so and avoid warped cylinders...)

 

h22 would be good. i think its bolt-on, meaning not much adjustment. i dont think ur gonna hve to use mounts.
