this happened on a cold start.
i started up the car and i heard a kinda loud ticking noise coming from the engine bay. i gave the car a little gas and when the rpms dropped, the noise got quiet.

i recently installed a CTR intake cam and did a valve job.

i set the intake valves at .007 and the exhaust vavles at .008. the sound seemed like it was coming from the intake side, but not to sure. should i set the valves at .006 for the intake side and .007 for the exhaust side?

specs are : .006-.007 for intake and .007-.008 for exhaust.

motor is a gsr.

it has only done this once, so who knows if it will do it again when i start the car
up later tonight. could it be possible that a valve was stuck for some reason and when i drove it about 15 feet to park, it got unstuck and thats why i didn't hear it anymore?
