Default new buyer questions

well ive decided to get a 6th gen accord, ive been searching and i think i want the 4 banger 5spd. Im using this for a daily driver, but i also want some speed. Also whats the best turbo set up to get for it? How do the stock internals handle the psi? If i cant find a 5spd will an auto hold the power of a turbo?

numerous "bolt on" kits are available...but if you can afford it, youll definantly want to upgrade the fuel managment on those kits, and make sure its professionally tuned to get the most power/reliability.....F series engines have been known to easily handle 15+psi if they were in good condition to begin with...but even at <10 psi, you will still push over 200whp, and still have a decently reliable honda

not sure about 1/4 miles times, but the 6th gen accord is very heavy......stock clutch will be able to survive for a while, but it wouldnt be a bad idea to put in a new clutch at the same time.....FYI: boost + auto tranny = fucked up ****

couldn't have said it better myself!

not sure on 6th gen but from what I hear prob. high 12s to low 14s with 200 hp...then again i don't have a turbo

definitely the get F22B1 (only on the EX, trust me its worth it for the motor alone), its a solid motor with good reliability and low stock compression for a turbo

OK so find an ex. Are you serious, between high 12's and low 14's? thats not bad. What other performance upgrades can i do to help out besides fuel management and turbo? Id like to get a 12 sec daily driver, i like the sleepers
