I just got an '05 type S last month, and i was wondering if anybody knew if a CAI would fit on it.....because the intake manifold is like 7mm larger.

 

I was curious about this myself, cause from what i hear all the exhausts should work from the 02s-04s, but the intakes i dont think are gonna work.

 

i read that someone tried to install a AEM CAI into an 05. the tube fit but the washer bottle does not. an injen cai might be a better attempt. maybe that one will still fit.

 

Yeah i already have put an exhaust on mine...It's a magnaflow (i know it not the best,) but it does fit. I really would like to put on an intake though so i need to know if anyone knows if any will fit, or if any company has one out for an '05 yet. Please answer.

 

i believe the injen CAI will fit. i remember reading somewhere someone had done it

 

That doesn't sound like a good idea, because you'll be restricting air due to the decreased pipe size.
