Rodek...quality amplifiers
Carver....nice home audio, but there car line is gone...to the best of my knowledge.
Soundstream....Still around, but not Soundstream anymore....just in name.

What happened to these companies?
I remember when these were all highly regarded, some are now gone....some have just been bought out by seemingly inferior companies.

I just thought this could be an interesting read, but wouldn't know where to research these old companies.

 

i used to rock a full soundstream system, it was bad ***, that was soundstream back in the day

they were bought out by power acoustic i think....
