i bought it for parts, but i think iw ill just restore it to stock

yea it does have the motor in it, i havent tried running it yet, i am hhoping its good cause it looks good.but i did count up the aproximate cost and its about 18k to have mint again like it shoudl be . i am contemplating, the car has so little miles on it i just dont want to just take the motor out and dump it. bu ti woudl do a 5 lug next time aorund

 

bro, maybe it would be easier to take the good parts off that car and put them on a regular integra. it'll save you a lot of money and many headaches.
no, it'll never be a real type R, but then - that wrecked R will probably never be 100% right either. just my opinon. doesnt have to be yours.

About $18K to get back to somewhat stock condition? Damn....how much did you pay? Plus the fact that it's probably a salvage title, so it isn't even worth that much. Do you think that was a smart move?

 

If it's gona cost 18K to fix it man don't do it. I bought a 01 itr from the salvage auction for 7500 and it's running me like 10K total to have it fixed. if its a JDM 96 spec which it looks like it is then getting all the RHD parts is going to be an ultrabitch, unless you will convert it to LHD, which will still be a bitch because your Type R resembles a pepsi can under the influence of a fat man

That thing is beyond repair, I seriously hope you didnt pay over 3,000 for that thing, especially becuase you only "think" the motor looks good.

 

dude, for the 18K you'd spend to repair that pile to SALVAGE TITLE...you could buy a low mileage 2000 or 2001...jesus...
