I have an all motor h22 with itb's, custom cams, 14:1 compression, and an AN-R header. I was wondering if I should keep the 2.5 trend, or if I should step up to 3" from the header back
I would say if you are putting out similar numbers (besides torque) to a turbocharged car, get the 3". From what you listed...get the 3". You have to have at least 230+whp...probably more.

Seriously, I don't think he gives a **** if it's loud. I'm sure it's not exactly an everyday driver.

a nice header system like SMSP or Hytech have 2.5" inch collectors. A nice flowing 2.5" inch exhaust will do just fine.
3" inch might be an overkill for an All-Motor setup, unless you go all out and plan to max it out.

3" exhaust will work perfectly fine with that big of a motor and that much compression, just make sure you have a good flowing header and resonate that exhaust so you don't loose too much back pressure. nice sounding setup btw! -Jason

Header back? This set-up sounds like no street car I've heard of. If it is you're nuts. Custom side exit w/ 3" collector.

I thought about doin that. Its really not a street car, I just want to be able to bring it out and drive around once a month or so
