Does anybody make one, like the spoonie

Something exactly like the stock one only c/f would be sweet!

 

i saw one a while ago on this white integra in the summer time at nissei week in little tokyo... didn't ask him what it was... looked pretty good though... with the carbon fiber hood...

 

I have looked long and hard,and come up with nothing.I called FI and they said they should have one out,something early next year.

 

I would think that someone could make a fair amount of $ if they just produced a quality CF splitter for the USDM front end. I know I would like one. I don't see the point of a CF replica of the stock lip, though, since the stock one can't be that heavy and a CF one would be pretty expensive by nature.

 

I'm curious to what it would look like.

The stock lip looks the best IMO.

 

To answer your question guys,

one of my sponsors is helping make carbon fiber front lip, the same exact look of the stock ITR lip, we wil be making them for sale, we will give you more words once they are out, we are still in the process of making them...


acutually one thing holding us back, im still waiting to find a BRAND NEW Type R front lip, if you ahve one, and would liek to donate it, i will get you one as well...

That was going to be the deal, but just emailed Mike K (thanx man!) about the lips, and he has one in stock! so im going to order one from him and we are going ot make the lip from that!

I tried to call them but no answer. I doubt the one in the pic is a cf one "painted for detail puposes" but it says they make it. I'll try to get ahold of them and have em send a real pic.

If you could get a real pic that would be great, that pic is just of a white Teg there is nothing CF about it.......

i got a guy who makescutom carbon fiber , he built chris rados celica and honda gave him 2 civics he just built . . . he got some sick , he can make anything from carbon fiber or fiberglass . . . . he's in pa and if enough people intersted we could have him make em for us. im sure if we get enough people he will do at a good price too , he made a cf dash for our civic race car. its pretty tight, let me know , ill talk to him

 

$300! Even if it is true CF, it's just an OEM replica. You won't get any aerodynamic benefit over the stock lip (if you already own an R), and the weight savings has to be very small. I'd pay another $100 and just get the hood. At least you know the OEM hood is heavy, not like the plastic OEM lip.

How much are you looking at, and how many candidates would you need? If he needs a car for 94-97 test-fitting, Id be happy to help out.
