it adds 10 hp................not! waste of money unless you really want the spoon name on your car. You can go to the local Auot parts and buy the same thing for around $10

It doesn't help cool your car. It accepts more presure before it blows, thus raising the boiling point of your coolant. Unless you are running the car very very hard, it really ain't worth it.

And this is coming from the guy who has a Greddy Cap on his car.

I wasn't saying it didn't do anything, just that you are paying a lot more just for a damn name. You can buy high pressure caps from the auto parts store for a lot less money. It does hold more pressure and allow the coolant to get to a higher temperature.

I know, my reply was directed towards the guy above me who said it helps cool your car, which it does not.

Get this, I put on a Greddy radiator cap a few months ago. Ran my car hard for the first time at VIR a couple weekends ago... my radiator cracked. Was it the higher pressure that caused the crack, or the fact that my radiator is 9 years old, or both?
Anyways, I got a high capacity all-aluminum Koyo and 11-inch slim fan coming in the mail
