Just a quick question. Is this the real deal or a replica? $195 shipped is fairly cheap, but I'm not sure. Anyone had experience with the ebay seller? Thanks.

 

it looks like a skunk2, but I thought that the skunk2 had "SKUNK 2" stamped on it

my brother has a gsr and he has a skunk2 intake manifold and it looks almost exactly like that and his doesn't have skunk2 stamped on it.

 

The older skunk 2 intake manifolds don't have anything but like a 6-8 number black stamp on the top kind of by the throttle body. they look just like the ITR intake manifolds. hope this helps. -Jason

 

I don't know i would ask the seller, or check with his feedback. If it seems to good to be true it probably is. And it should say skunk2 somewhere on the manifold maybe not a big stamp but somewhere.

The Skunk2 manifold was designed after the ITR manifolds.

The name 'Skunk2' is not stamped on the manifold though.

I purchased one once before and there is no name stamped or engraved anywhere.

 

mine shares the same charicteristics.. like the shaved fuel rail mnt on left side.. the brace at the throttle body... as well as the circular casting marks on the top of the tb flange.. mine "has " the skunk2 emblem on top..
