Default Going to be a classic?

Hey everyone,
Just wondering if people think that preludes (specifically 4G, but also 5G) are going to end up being "classic" import cars, kinda like the way people treat 1G preludes and AE86 Corollas and old import cars in general. Cause I was thinking about keeping my car for a really long time and then in like 20 or 30 years bring it outta the garage and restore it, and get it put in magazines and car shows and stuff hah not likely, i guess, but what do you guys think? Will people look at old preludes as classics in a few decades? Or just another old car?

Hell yes..... Ive thought about the same thing before while staring at my 5th gen. Bring her out in 30 years and everyone would be like "whats that!" I love the styling of all preludes. Get yourself a mental picture of an old man haulin *** around in a classic lude & thats me in 50 years.

I hope they will be. I plan on keeping hold of this car for a long time. I just bought it about a month to a month and a half ago and I already love this car. I've gone from a 91 cutlass calias to a 91 busted, running on its last legs s10, to a 96 dodge neon 3 speed automatic to my 95 prelude Si. It feels like luxury and faster than ****. So yeah, hopefully it will become a "classic."

Sure its a possibility, but I think there are other hondas that would be considered classics before a 4g or 5g lude. Like the S2k, or ITR, or CRX.

One honda I really think deserves a lot of credit is the V6 6 spd legend ( this car was way ahead of its time, the accord is finally where the legend was 9 yrs ago.)

I have the dream that my Prelude will be my "hemi in the garage" and that me and my son (i hope to have one) will work on it as he grows up and then pass it down to him when he gets his drivers license...well maybe a few months afterwards lol.

This is my take on it: yes they will, as well as s2k, crx and the itr is already a high sought after car.

I have a 5th generation ss, which will be 5 speed next year, which i will keep for as long as i live, BUT i love the 4th gen vtec edition and i will get it after i finish school and have both of them.

Hopefully one day, my kids (if any) will say: "dad, this car is so old but weird and fast for what it is"

i'd be like, yeah, back in the day we boosted them, sc'ed them and also mistaken the spelling of VTEC for vtech, "son, vtech went out of business due to the rivalry with Honda and the vtec, yo got itsss??

haha.
