Default What would you put setting for Koni Yellow on the street?

I had driven Koni and H&R with soft setting for 2 weeks, i just changed to Firm(all the way)setting 2hrs ago. Ride is really stiff but car's handling is awesome!
I just wonder you guys who installed Koni Yellow, what setting you prefer on the street?

I wouldn't leave them at full stiff for street use I have seen people damage the shocks that way.

That's exactly what mine are set at. 3/4 turn in rear is about 42% firm (of total stiffness); 1/2 turn is about 28% firm. All depends on your preferences, but more importantly you should try to match the dampening rate to the spring rates of your H&Rs. As far as I know, there is no tried and true way to match shock dampening rates to spring rates, except trial and error. Off the shelf Koni yellows/sports are supposed to handle spring rates of up to 600 ft/lbs. So, basically if your springs are 300 ft/lbs (for example), then those shocks should be set at around 50% stiff, + or - whatever really helps the car "feel" better.

You can damage shocks if you put them at full stiff?

Does that mean that stiffer shocks, in general, don't last as long as softer shocks non-adjustables, I mean)?
