I have a question about the DC sport header 4:2:1 one piece. I see that the O2 sensor hole is in a different location than the one on my EX stock header. the ex stock header has the sensor mounted up near where it can be seen in front. the dc header is down below. Do I just need to extend the wires and but my sensor there? Also there is only one O2 sensor for the exhaust on the D16Z6 right?

 

Yes there is only 1 02 sensor. I had to remove the bracket that holds the wire harness for the O2 sensor in front of the engine, and move the harness to behind the engine for it to reach.

 

thought so, just didn't wanna mess something up, especially after paying the money for it.

 

i have those as well. Just cut a little bit of that wrap off and extend the wire towards the back.

 

the deal is that my buddy had bought one from the junkyard. the guy tells him he needs to drill a hole in it. I told him that this guy is gonna mess them headers all up. for one there is already a hole for the primary O2 sensor, just the catalytic converter would be under the car instead of infront of the engine where it sits now. then secondary O2 would be after the cat. Right??? (sorry still noob and have yet to see his car since his swap since he already ran it into a ditch)
