Well I need to replace my transmision becasue Syncro is going out. The thing is I'm not to faund of inside of a transmission, so i figured i would just buy a used one my question is... (I have a 95 Civic EX) Can i put a 96-99 Tranny in on my D16z6 (I think that's right) because i would prefer a newer transmission?

 

you can use and hydro d-series tranny.

yea same thing happened to me andi just bought a new tranny (z6). the car dealership was trying to charge about 1000 but i got a z6 tranny for 230

 

damn 1000 bucks for a tranny, I got my type-r tranny for 1200

 

I got an ex tranny for $350.. but that was only because I didn't want to drive further to get another.

i got my tranny for a 100 bux. had to drive 3 hours to get it but it was worth it. S20. and now i think its about to blow
