Revs stay high between gear changes
My Lude Vtec maintains last high revs between gear changes, about 1-2 Sec's, then either falls by its self or, more often, gets pulled down by engaging the next gear.
Any Ideas why it dosn't drop quickly by its self, just as it dose when reved at a stand still???
Cheers

Its probably not anything to worry about/ problem of any kind.
Try timing your clutch and gas differently to get the revs where you want them.

You have the inertia of the rotating assembly to keep the revs up. Also there is load wich will create more inertia. Unless you get super lightweight rotating assembly ie. flywheel crankshaft crank pulley, your revs ll always be slower on accel and deccel. Its better to have the weight for street driveability.
