Hey guys, i've got a 93 Integra LS with a 2.5" exhaust pipe underneath and it rattles like all hell against that thin heat shield thats above it right before it curves towards my back left wheel. It mainly rattles when i'm decelerating from high speed and when i'm in reverse. I've tried bending it away some but i figured i'd ask to see if there something that anyone else has done to solve this problem or if you do know it would seriously help me out. Thanks

 

haha, that happened to me too. read my posted topic on the Apexi dunk. I took off the heat shield. My piping is only 2.25'. I still hear the noise, faint, but its still there! It's driving me crazy too. Maybe it could be the shifter? I dunno.

 

try wrapping the piece of exhaust thats rattling with header wrap, that might do it

 

1. get under car
2. take off heatshield
3. a.bend heatshield so it no longer vibrates (you can tell where's its been rubbing by looking at the heatshield..it should have some sort of groove in it by now)
or
3. b.keep heatshield off
