Whats going on heres what been bothering me. Got a b16 mtr with a gsr tranny. Just recently put a new act street disk clutch, hd pressure plate, 12lbflywheel and bearings in. Now heres where the trouble begins. After 400 miles or so it was getting hard to shift out of first gear to second under about 4grand. I would nearly have to force it out of gear to shift or rev the mtr up a bit. Any ideas? Used honda tranny fluid for the first time. Always used 530mtr oil in the tranny before. Is it the tranny, clutch or maybe fluid? Thanks!

 

Did you use locktite on the flywheel and pressure plate bolts when you did the install originally?

 

nah just torqed the bolts down to the specific measurements

 

I'm sure you checked your clutch fluid, right?

 

you might have a problem with the flywheel bolts backing out if you don't use lock tight..
