Default skunk2 stage1's or buddy club spec 3+

ok i know there has probably been debates about these 2 cams, but i've been looking for some particular answers and have not found an answer after all the searching.

anyway, the first question is, what are the buddy club cams measured at? 0mm or 1mm?
here are the specs as stated from jhpusa.com
intake 304 duration, 11.59 mm lift, exhaust 294 duration, 10.71mm lift.

second of which concerns passing the smog tests here in CA. i know the stage1's have a CARB sticker with them, but i haven't found any posts as to where people have actually ran the stage1's and passed? if anyone has, what had to be done to get the car to pass the test?
and a related question; since the buddy club cams have somewhat comparable specs to the stage1's, would passing smog be a problem with those cams if i were to prep them the same way for smog check as i would with the stage1's?

the reason i ask is because i want to pick the cam that'll give me less of a hassle to handle smog with. i know the the smog check person can't check to see if i had a set of aftermarket cams, so if the stage1's and bc spec3's are almost identical, would the spec3's pass smog fine?

thanks

Also to add, does anyone know the specs of the buddy club spec 3+ cams for the primary and secondary lobes?

I passed smog with stage ones.

Setup is

B18C1
JDM ITR header
AEM cold air
I run a chipped P28.
Skunk Stage 1's with valvetrain.

For smog I threw in a stock P28 chip and passed fine out the tailpipe. My smog guy just looked passed visual and passed it.

How hard/expensive is it to have the stock cat modded to fit the 2.5" collector?

In between 100-150 depending on what you have. If you have the donut, flanges and everything ready to go, Its like 3 cuts and a good amount of welds.

If you like we can set you up. Pm me for my shop number.

Buddy club Spec3plus camshafts have a "T" mark on both intake/exhaust on the distributor size.

With a stock P28 Chip its not running to lean. But Its not like I drive around with a stock chip anyway. It was just for smog.
