Default Friendly Reader in need of some assistance.

Hi you guys doing. My name is steve and I just purchased a used 98 honda accord, v6, ex coupe. I love my baby, and will take care of her as i did my 87 toyota camry that just passed away in 03

I was searching on your site and it was pretty tough to find the exact, few, questions I had in mind. I am not one to steroid my car ( but i would love to be some of you guys with your bad @$$ cars, i am very jelous) , but I would like to add the "pretty affects" to it.

Do angel eye kits require very complicated installation? I know my way around cars, but molding/fabrocation/cutting out of the option

Do angel eyes work together with HID lights?

What is the best maifacturer for angel lights?

What is the best manifacturer for performance chips?

Thank you all. Steve

IMO I don't think you would need to modify the chip. It's not a euro . Its a honda so start off with I/H/E. That should get you the power your looking for. Instead of angel eyes get some blue bulbs and paint the housing black.

Why do you want angel eyes? Are you just wanting a different look...I have seen some 6th gens with blacked out headlight housings and they look sweet.

Welcome to the site, but as a fair warning: people on this site like clean cars not riced out (see angel eye headlights, extreme body kits) this site is typically function over fashion .

first off, welcome to the accord family.

as far as angel eyes go, i think TYC is probably your best bet, and the only ones that make them that are decent quality as far as i know.

you can get them to work, but you would need to get an HID retrofit kit in the right size to complement your angel eye housings (which are usually different than stock)

and for chips, not really an option for OBDII hondas, especially accords. the Intake/Header/good quality Exhaust option is probably your best bet. if you're looking for the best sound, get the exhaust. if you're looking for performance, go with the headers.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder...do what YOU like to make your car "pimp". don't listen to haters, and some a**holes that like to post here.

if u just need to make your car a little faster then stock and dont want to spent, get an intake, like INJEN,ICEMAN or AEM short or cold air. by far the best bang for your buck....good luck with your car and welcome to the board.

I've got to warn you though MODDING IS ADDICTIVE AND EXPENSIVE!!!!! trust me
