Default Stock side skirt removel

I Have a 4-door 2000 honda civic and i tried to remove the screws under the car that hold the stock side skirts on, i could not figure it out and broke one of them. Can anybody tell me the process in taking those special screw things out?? thanks

theres like 5 screws at least on each skirt, 3 or 4 metal ones and a couple plastic ones...then like he said it just slides forward and off

Yeah the skirts slide off when you get the screws out. Pretty easy actually when you figure it out.

TO TOPIC STARTER ^ ignore this fool, he spends his time browsing H-T boards looking for posts which he can bitch about as some substitutionary way of dealing with his repressed and definitely dysfunctional childhood.

As for your sideskirt question, like the other non-******** said, should be a few screws holdin it on, then just slide forward (or back, not sure) should come right off...

the plastic screws just unscrew and then iirc you can pull down on the sideskirt and the little plastic clip they screw into will pop out and fall on the ground, just be careful with them when unscrewing. The sideskirt it self is the only part that actually slides off

those black plastic clips underneath are a bitch. you have to pop out the center part, then pull that out. after that the outter part of it should pull/fall out. don't worry I brok about 6 of mine when I changed my side skirts. you don't need them as long as you put the screws at the front and back in.

after removing all of those clips and the srews the whole piece slides towards the front of the car. then you pull it off. there are sever clips behind the skirt that holds it to the car.

good luck

Yea some of the plastic ones might break, so you might want to go to autozone and get some replacements.
