Installed VAFC2 in my 95 VTEC and car boggs and backfires, HELP?

Default Installed VAFC2 in my 95 VTEC and car boggs and backfires, HELP?

Guys,

This is the 5th VAFC i've installed and the first to give me problems.....
this is how I have it setup:

etc---> Sensor No----->06 06
etc--->Car Select ----->Cyl (4)-----> Thr (Point up and to the Right)---V/T (1)

Can you guys help me out? Im using the US Version Wiring Diagram (H3-A)!

help guys.....? Car is bogging and backfires when I step on the X.

Doubt check your connections... majority of the problems are related to bad contacts... best way to be sure is to solder the connections on.

what i would do if i were you is get pissed off, then i'd go out and get in my 640 horsepower Supra, and tear it a new one. then i'd come back to the house and say "Hey!, Things aren't so Bad!" haha

My geuss is the wire that controls fuel isnt tapped in correctly. Im pretty sure it uses one of the map sensors wires to control the fuel. When my freinds car was back firing it was a loose wire on the map sensor. So check the wire that taps into the map sensor.

Also make sure all the setting are at 0 for fuel on the vafc

if its backfiring, doesnt that always mean that the timing is off? it might not even be related to the vafc

No it doesnt. Unless he changed the cam gears or something along with the vafc install i wouldnt think it has to do with timing.

fixed the problem guys, map sensor wire was crossed on the vafc2.

Good to hear. I knew it had to do with the map sensor wire.
