Anyone planning on going? There will be two F1 cars there, a 91 Benetton that holds the track record at VIR and a 97 Ascari Benetton (kind of a bastard F1 car with a 4.0 liter Judd V10), as well as a bunch of CART cars. I also see some McLaren Can-Am cars on the entry list and also a ton of other neat stuff. I'll be there with my parents, bugging my dad about which cars he saw race in person "back in the day".

For some reason I seem to miss this event every year because I have something else to do. This year is no exception...as I am working my tail off getting the car back together for Summit Point next weekend.

I was at VIR on Thursday taking photos for an upcoming story, and there are some very nice cars there. Our black Triumph TR3 is running there this weekend, too. (I left VIR Thursday evening to go to a car show in Greenville, S.C., and now I'm home in Fla.--busy week.)
