They keep saying that it does fit. Fastbrakes told me that they do fit and have done it many times.

Sometimes you can get a template from the manufacturer that will allow you to see if there is any interference. But if they say they've done it many times, that has to count for something, right?

It does count and I have had good experiences with Brian at Fastbrakes, but lots of posts here have mentioned that 12.2" brakes wonīt fit under 15s. Thats why I am a bit confused and wanted to know if anyone has done it.

there is no way wilwoods 12.19" rotor/four piston caliper will fit uner a 15" rim without a huge offset/shim. the calipers are not low profile and require at least 16" rims, and even some of those do not fit.

Maybe I'm missing something, but how will the diameter of the wheel affect the caliper to spoke clearance. If you can fit it on a 15 with a different offset or hub spacer, then a 16 has no more to offer than 1/2 inch on the outside of the caliper. You will still have the same clearance problems to the spokes with the same offset and spoke design.

I think there are 2 issues, whether it will fit under a 15 inch wheel with sufficient offset, and whether it will fit under the spokes on the offset of the wheels he has.

but of course... I have been runing these brake for YEARS... I have several sets to swasp in and out as needed(when they need to be rebuilt), the two issue are related though

The offset is +45.

+45 is fine for the offset... if the fintment is very close you can actually file the edge of the caliper down ti fit correctly. You really only need a minimum of clearence for it to work. And if you do use a file to trim the edge off the caliper, do it very carefully and only a small amount of material.

does the FB kit use oem rotors or wilwoods 12.19 two piece rotor? I don't think the big rotor set up is going to fit

Does not say on his website but it does say this about the wheels:

"Here is a 15" lightweight race wheel that will clear all the Fastbrake brake kits up to 12.2", no matter which one you choose. These wheels are designed to use large calipers and rotors and have LOTS of clearance. 15x7 with many offsets from +28 to +45 with the 4x100 bolt pattern. Most common is +40 or +45. With these offsets wheel to strut clearance is VERY TIGHT."
