I took my wing off and have plugs to fill the holes, just haven't finished painting and putting them on. And i don't have wingless pictures, but i deffinitely think it looks hot

This is all a matter of opinion.....and IMO, i strongly feel the appearance is much better WITH the wing then w/o, but as always to each his own!

Check out posts by NiceDC2. He's rocking a wingless with CF hatch & hood. It's the hottest wingless I've seen yet. Personally I like the wing. In fact I even dig the Mugen wind tunnel tested biatch. It's hot.

Been there did that.

Put it back on when it changed from a daily driver to a predominantly track car.

The wing is there for a reason, looks ain't it.

Search for this topic covered more than a few times already with pics of my car somewhere out there as well.

Bwahahaha!

I actually liked it when mine was off. You could see out the rear window, it didn't draw nearly any attention since I also removed the stickers and red badging. For daily driving you don't need it, it's a personal aesthetic's thing.

To each his own.

Wingless Rs are just not looking as good as Rs with wing. In addition, as mentioned by someone, the wing serves as an aerodynamic effect when you are on track and/or at high speed.

Yeah, but if you (only) autocross what in the hell does it do besides add weight to the trunk!

Nothing, but the weight isn't that much, can't even be 10 lbs.

BTW: "Search Results

That was the idea when a daily driver. Less attention overall.

I used to have plastic full wheel covers over 15x6.5 steel wheels, replaced the badging with stock silver A's and no stickers. It looked plain and I liked it that way, especially after my first PYR, which drew more shitty negative attention to it than flies to cowpie on a sunny August day in Nevada.
