lol my rims are not rota....they are marked "ultralite monoblock" within the inside of the lip. I did a lot of search but i cant find any info...all i found was that monoblock is the material they use to make rims.

yep it was a joke, but I am sorry I am not sure how to tell, someone on here will know though, actually EKen9 will know. He is a wheel nut, he has several sets of wheels, including volks and mugen mf10s if I am not mistaken. I am sure his stuff is real and he could tell you how to identify if they are fake.
It is just sad, that people have to find out how to tell if they have real wheels or not, it is because of companies like ROTA which I ******* can't stand with a passion. They make copies of almost every nice looking wheel out there.
//end rant!

I think you have the spoon wheels mixed up with the mugens...the spoon sw388s(I believe that is the number) have the dull finish and the rota are glossy, I don't think that applies to this topic

Agreed.
Agreed.
Ok i have a set of the wheels in question....I have a set of 16's 5 lug of course...anyway on the outer lip it says MUGEN also on the outter lip it will say FORGED. Also they will be hella light in feeling. It also has the weight in kilagrams on the lip...... The 16in MF-10's weigh in at 11 lbs a piece. You'll really tell by just picking it up. I mean it freaked me out how big of a difference a few pounds make in just picking one up. For example I have a set if ITR wheels too and picking one up and getting a feel for its weight then picking up the mugen wheels there was a huge difference in feel. I believe my itr's weigh in at 15 or 15.5 lbs a piece and my Mugen ones are 4 lbs lighter...but feels like more..haha..But seriously those are things that are a dead giveaway...Hope it helps ya bro...good luck!
Oh and if you do a search on MF-10's and Rota circut 10's there will be pics and although both look alike there is a big difference when you look at one then the other right away..

u have konig greenlights. they are discountinued but the rims still hold value. i believe konig stamps ultra light monoblock on a majority of their rims. laters
take off your wheel and check behind the center of the rim(the part where the lug nuts go) rota stamps on that part and possibly other companies too .. ckeck there and see if anythings stamped
