Not trying to jack the thread, just asking for some additional info that may help the original poster as well.

I was interested in the Skunk 2 exhaust for my car but heard that it's really loud which I don't want. Anyone know if that is true? I have the Magnaflow cat back now which I think is just right for sound level but the exhaust tip sits in to far under the bumper IMO...and turns my bumper black around that area.

I would recommend the greddy evo2 to anyone. But to answer your question i heard that the Skunk2 exhaust i really loud but i am not sure if thats what you want. Some people like it loud. The evo2 is pretty quiet until about 5k then it starts to scream in my car atleast. Good luck fellow si guys.

its not that loud if you leave the silencer in..but it sounds a lot better without the silencer and its not to loud..if that helps you

this thread caught my eye, my cousin has a 2000 civic si, same exact color too. he has an apexi n1, he took out his cat converter too...it sounds realllllyyy nice. esp in high RPMs. i dunno how the greddy sounds on the civic, but im jus assuring you that the apexi n1 is nice, it sounds deep. not high pitched and cheap sounding. either one would be good, greddy and apexi are nice exhausts. goodluck

out of the three choices you gave i would seriously consider the APEXi N1 exhaust, but also dont forget that you can go custom!!!!!!!!

THATS WHAT TUNINGS ABOUT!!!!!!!

I have the same exhaust with a DC Sports JDM header and a high flow cat. The exhaust is great and has a great sound. I had it with a test pipe and it was a little to raspy but with the addition of the high flow cat its just right. Plus it looks great with the car. Good luck!

I've owned an APEX'i world sport and have heard every exhaust mentioned in this thread and then some. I would suggest you look into a Thermal Research & Development peice, Fuji., HKS, or APEX'i GT-Spec.

You heard right, my friend has a Skunk2 cat-back with DC 4-2-1 header and a CAI on his SiR and that thing is pretty damn loud IMO. He loves it but it's not for me. When I was exhaust shopping I narrowed it down to either the Greddy SP or the Apex'i WS which are two of the quietest exhausts from what I hear.

Tanabe super Medallion Racing, best looking and it purrrs. my opinion. for an Si or Apexi N1 it angles and silencer helps it a lot and sounds nice.

I have a 2000 si and have the apexi N1 on my car and it sounds really good and when the vtec hits it is just crazy... And it looks mean too with the little tilt that it has... one suggestion get a high flow cat and not straight pipe, it will make it alot easier when you go to get an inspection...
