holy **** you flipped an s2k? how? i hope it was not on the street....and on a track.... hope you are o.k.
the big advantage of the mugen over the oem hard top is it is lighter weight and better aerodynamically....

I think bulletproofautomotive used to carry Amuse hardtop as well. They were really really expensive, I think it was like 5xxx or 6xxx dollars. I don't see them around anymore though.
I don't understand why no one gets why you would wrap the OEM hardtop in carbon fiber....
When a layer of carbon fiber, such as from a roll of it, is laid onto a metal, a chemical reaction occurs. This bonds the carbon fiber to the metal, where it then reduces the weight of the metal, and gains the strength of carbon fiber. It only gets tricky when you try to go carbon-kevlar.
....I wonder how many people will go start wrapping stuff in CF now.

If you have the $$$ get the Mugen its lighter, aerodynamically sound, its CF (duh), plus you get brownie points just for having it. Only down side is that there is no defroster and the OEM one i think has Honda written on the interior part of the roof. I know i dont need a defroster myself but if that sways you...

The only other down side is that you will like the looks of the Mugen CF hardtop SO MUCH that you will not use the car as a convertable as much.

Also wouldn't wrapping that much of CF on OEM HT would cost you a fortune? Especially if you want to 'bond' it. Resale value might go down also on the hardtop. I hardly doubt that just wrapping will improve any structural rigidity. Strutbars with CF wrapped on it are usually inferior to the ones that are full CF or Ti. And if you don't get a perfect fit, you will cause drag from the gaps. Wrapping CF will make the HT slightly thicker so you probably won't get that 'perfect fit' look.
Does anyone know if Amuse CF HT are still around?

no, the OEM hardtop does not have honda written on the interior part of the roof or anywhere else for that matter.
The mugen CF hardtop does have a serial badge on the inside, for somethat has the fiberglass mugen top, does it have one too?

it fits perfect if you follow the directions and take the time to properly install it
