Default Polishing factory GSR wheels

Can you polish factory wheels to take the straches out of it. The reason I am asking is I was wondering if there was a clearcoat on the rims.

Yes the fat 5's have a clear coat on them, you can wet sand it and polish it how ever you like it.

See, when I say polish I don't mean how people polish valve covers and make then really shinny, I am just tryin to get some scuffs out. So someones said you can wet sand them, will that take off the clear coat? Prolly a dumb question.
