93 Prelude Vtech smoking
I'm looking at a 1993 Prelude Vtech with 128000 miles, but it smokes pretty badly when it starts up. The salesman says that the previous owner had the top rebuilt, but the moron that rebuilt it used the old valve seals. So my question is this a bad sign? Is this easy to fix, or is there probably a ton of damage from this? I know that you can't tell me anything definate. They are asknig $4950, but I think I can get it down to $4000. It has CAI, and new exhaust, but it needs tires. Interior is good, and the exterior is all right, but not perfect. What do you think bad deal?
I think thats kinda high, i just recently bought a 95 Prelude VTEC w/I/H/E and Springs & Clutch and full stereo and wicked alarm for $3900 and that **** runs like a top... no smoking. Offer him $3k cash.

Tell them with the aftermarket parts on it, chances are that
it was dogged (driven hard before) and offer them 3k cash
