apexi vafc problem(searched)

Default apexi vafc problem(searched)

unclipped it while car was on, to relocated some of the wires blah blah, BUT when i go to plug it back in, car runs like ****, idles same, but louder...? need to find out what went wrong asap. TIA!

You unclipped the VAFC while the car was running and that means you disconnected the MAP sensor and whatever else the VAFC interupts.

TURN YOUR CAR OFF and reset the ECU by either pulling the negative off the battery or pulling the ECU fuse out for about 10 seconds.

Then plug the VAFC back in and connect the battery.

When you start the car it should be back to normal..

I happened to start my car once when i got off of work and i didnt have my VAFC hooked up, and my kill switches were on (sercurity man) and when i started the car it was running like **** and i had CEL, i was ******* freaking.

I look down and see i forgot to put my VAFC back. lol.

But yea do what ^ he said and you should be fine.

Yep I know this because I did the same thing.

And also because my VAFC crapped out on me while i was driving and a CEL came on. I was like WTF? since i hardly ever have a CEL just pop up on me. Looked down and the VAFC was blank and it never came on since..
