Default Fair price for all these type r parts? hatchback all type r'd out

i am probably buying this car from my freind for 8k since he is in a crunk right now, here is what it is:

97 hatchback
full 2000 itr swap
full 2000 itr break setup and gm wheels
mugen header
mugen exhaust
2000 itr steering rack& pinion
h&r coilovers
i thought i would ask you guys since most the car is type r, it use to be raced on a circle track, the guy my buddy got it from seemed very legit selling his honda to buy a ferrari so the itr parts came from a wrecked itr he bought

the car also has 99 si front end, si lips all around, ctr wing, leather int, si cluster.

i figure this is also about as lose to a type r as i am going to get for a while and it is definitly a fun car to drive, stops on a dime with the itr breaks the whole car is in great shape all over, and is very clean.

i will also be dropping my b16 turbo motor in if anybody is in search of a strong 2000 b18c5 longblock, head was just rebuilt

i have my flame suit on so if you guys feel its needed, then flame on

Do you have all the paper work for that car? Ya know if you get pulled over for that car by a cop that has half a brain your going to get asked about it.

$8,ooo not bad...

Have any pics of it?

yep paper work for everything,

i have a few pics from my camera, i will upload them tomorrow.
it is a pretty sharp car

its going to be easier to explain to a cop why i have a integra motor in my car than when i have to explain why my block is brite green and my head is baby blue(that is my turbo motor...anti theft)

Run the VIN and buy it. Thats exactly the combo hatch I'd want. I'd take the looks of the newer body style over the weight savings of the prior.

He is in a crunk and buying a ferrari, yeah ok! What year and model?
Remember its never a Type-R without truly being A Type-R

I think the guy who was buying the ferrari is the previous owner of the honda, not the poster's buddy. At least that's how I read it.

To the original poster: If you really like the car and 8K isn't going to kill you then why not buy it? Oh and having all that paperwork is a big plus.

type r seats are going for crazy ******* prices, hawaian brando sold his two front seats on ebay for 600!

i do wish i had the center console of the car this stuff came out of though

my next upgrades for it are hopefulley cusco roll cage, better strut bars(has dc's now ) and then either drop my jg turbo motor in or sell it and do something freaky to this type r motor

"Steal" is a subjective term.

He sold his seats, I was talking to him early about buying them.

For one thing, they're slippery, another they're not supportive.

Forget the Cusco cage, go with Autopower, Kirk, or the one JoeSTypeS sells. As for the car itself, sounds like a really great deal, pick it up. As Rodney said though, does the ITR steering rack fit in an EK? I thought they were entirely different...

cusco is cusco though its pretty blue but i dont know if i can get it

i will be replacing the leather with something else, you do slip off leather,

if worst coemes to worst i will just buy some ctr front recaros in the spring time so i can keep the leather for the pimp factor threw the winter, its about to start raining non stop for like 5 months so no need to get ctr seats and have them dirty by summer
