LAGUNA SECA (WOW)
ok everybody, it was my first track experience. and words just cannot describe how much fun i had. i'm not good with names and always forget, but i met the guy who owns the king motorsports s2000, the red one. wow was it nice and fast. he instructed me a little bit and drove my car at first, then i drove it with him next to me. after that, i took the track myself, and well, started off slow, but after some laps, i was having a heck of a time. wow there is such a big difference from the game gt3, compared to the tracks. after the first straight, on the first turn before there is a big decline and that turn i though was one of the hardest, also the blind turn or corkscrew, and the last turn were hard. on the corkscrew or blind turn, i was scared at first taking it slow and braking early each time, but as the day went by, i went faster and braked later each time, i found the line where you can just go full throttle down that turn after braking before the turn, wow, was like a roller coaster, only problem was changing to third gear coming down from that. i guess the people on this board who's been to laguna will understand what i'm saying... i have pictures... but hmmm... my girlfriend took the pictures, and well she didn't zoom in, and all the cars were tiny... i can post them up if you guys want... but it's funny. anyways, i can't wait to go to more track events, and back to laguna seca.
forgot to mention, within 24 hours i drove 800 somewhat miles, track miles included, around 700 miles were highway miles... damn... also with 4 hours of sleep... wished i stayed the two days. more sleep, and definitely more fun on the second day if i stayed!
here is a link to a couple pictures... didn't put all the pictures up but here it is...

third... it's a GT2... modified version of the 911 turbo
forth... it's my friend evo V...
there were also a r33, and ferrari 360 modena... and a bunch of other cars...

laguna seca.... compared to gt3 laguna seca... the game is a lot easier... the game there is no fear... especially on the corkscrew turn... and a little on the first turn...
also the game... there is some details that are different...
the straights in the game are a bit longer it seems when playing the game... also the last turn in the game seems to be smaller...
i definitely liked the track compared to gt3 with steering wheel... i wonder how the other tracks they used compares with real tracks...

With you takling about Laguna, I have been thinking that I might want to head to California again, after the Expo to finally get on that track. Would anyone be up for a trip to Laguna?
