Have you looked into the Yokohama AVS ES100's? Those are nice tires.

That's what I am running now. I like them but they are very loud. (might be my rear alignment is 1 degree off... Long story)

Or are you looking for allseasons? If so...

If you are running a 205/50/16 tire I would get the Pirelli PZero System Asimmetrico. I have that tire on my car currently, and it is an awesome tire.

The reason I'm saying a specific size, TireRack has a special on that size only. Other sizes are in the $130 range for smaller, and $150+ for bigger.

I have Bridgestone Potenza RE750s on my street wheels ... excellent dry and wet traction. I think I paid something around $100 a tire a few months ago.

I have some BFGoodrich Gforce TA KDW's I love them and they are pretty quiet even on the highway. Even in the rain i swear i have yet to loose traction.

just get some slicks.

if you arent auto-xing or anything i would just suggest paying about 120 or so pertire and get some at discount tire or something. I got yokohamas from discount tire and they are nice. This is a general statement, but for the most part given the type of tire you have to use, most are going to be pretty decent, just make sure they are z rated, hehe....

I love my Yokohama ES100's (215/45/17). They are much better than the Dunlop 9000's that I used to have. I highly recommend the ES100's.

Get Kuhmos. They are cheaper than most other tires and you can beat the living dog **** out of em and they handle well. I use them for my street tires and I also use the Victoracers for AutoX.
IMO you can't go wrong with em.

im buying pirelli Pzero neros. (205 50 16) they are affordable at $97 a tire on http://www.tires.com and have some of the best all season reviews I have found. I live in MD so an allseason tire is important cause I dont feel like having to change my tires come winter.

kumho MX or azenis.

it is socal, and it barely ever rains. and even when it does, it's not like the azenis all of a sudden don't work anymore.

they're not the best when driving into a puddle of standing water, but not many tires would handle something like that in a composed manner.

but i don't think there's a 17" wheel size for the azenis that will work for a lude so, kumho MX it is.
