hey guys, I did a search and didn't get anything. The car has a CAI, TB, and custom cat-back. The car just recently refused to go into forth while I was cruising the interstate. I'm thinking its someinthg with the linkage assembly... b/c it just won't go down into the 4th gate. All the other gears work fine, no tranny upgrades, just a new stock clutch (4th months, bout 4k miles) no racing, just daily commuter driving... TIA for any help

Can you get it into 4th with the engine off and the clutch disengaged?

 

it will upshift into fourth but not downshift into fourth right?

Ok, I tried going into 4th with the engine off and the clutch disengaged and that was a no go. From neitral it wont even go into the 4th gear gate. It neither upshifts nor downshifts into 4th as well. Any help would be much appreciated as not having 4th is making me have to rev in 3rd in order not to bog in 5th. TIA
