Default power window / lock conversion

ok i got power windows from a 92-95 civic.. i want to put them in my 95 dx.. i have all the parts (i beleive) this is what i have..

window tracks/motors
power locks
door harnesses
dash harness
p/w relay
20 amp fuses
door panels
switches

so i tried to do the drivers side.. i put the track/motor in.. put the window back in

then i wanted to test it so i just ran the wires on outside connected the door harness to the left side of the dash harness.

then ran it to the fuse box and i used a bolt on the door to ground the 2 blackwires
put the p/w relay in.. connected the switch and connected the window motor.. it went down... ( I FORGOT TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY) IM A MORON

but it went down and i wasnt even pushing the button o nthe swithc..????

now it wont go up... did i break something up b.c i didnt disconnect the batery??

i dont understand why its not working any ideas please help..

how can i see if i messed the motors up on the tracks..?? or if i messed up the p/w relay??

i believe you can test the motor's and relay's by connecting them to any 12V supply .. if that doesnt work .. get yourself a test light and then try the 12v thingy ... hope any of this is useful

Something is mixed up with your switch wires. When I did my SPAL kit, I had switches with no instructions so I had to spend 1/2 an hour going through every combination of wires till I got the right ones. All except for the correct connection caused the window to go either up or down on its own.

to test the motor just use the leads of the motor to a power source as for wirring just use the wires needed then runthem to a 20am fuse from the fuse box as a power source and your going to have to play around to find the write combination for the window to go up and its a bicht if your not good with wires and wiring scamatics
