Not alot, just put the turbocharger in place of the stock airfilter and you will gain at least 500 horsepower. Add a few vinyls that say "Got Boost?" on your windshield for about 80 more HP.

dude...im not even going to comment on such a topic as this. use the search button. you need to do a **** load of research on turbos before you think about touching one. you wont see 700hp. DO MORE RESEARCH and come back with more intelligent answers, and more specific questions.

first off, you cant just buy a turbo and make your car "turbocharged", lots of parts are needed to make it work, and no the turbo doesnt not make ur car 700whp. first off since your only 16, start researching on basic bolt ons like intake, header exhaust, and suspension. then work your way up to build the motor a little and learn about yuor car inside and out, then if you ahve knowledge abotu it, then research on turbo and forced induction.

dont sweat it, last year wen i was 16 i was in your spot, not knowing a thing about cars, but then i learned from this site and build my integra to be pretty damn fast then ended up crashing it but i learned now. just research adn youll learn more.

Better to fix up your suspension first.

okay thanks to those who acctually helped me.. i go to ORHS which was in the top 100 public schools in the nation a few years ago and they like to live up to that reputation, and on top of that im rowing 4 hours a day. ITS NOT LIKE I HAVE TIME TO RESEARCH STUFF OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL. I also never had anyone to teach me about cars because my dad works for the government and all my uncles live at least 7 hours away. Sorry for being sixteen.

going to a popular high school doesn't make you intelligent.

and it doesn't take much to realize that even the most high powered cars on the market aren't 700hp, especially not anything honda puts out, and especially not an Accord.

someone needs to stop playing video games.

Okay thanks to those newbs who actually search before posting their questions... they actually do RESEARCH, which only takes about ten minutes to realize that your question is stupid... i went to SHHS which IS in the top 100 public schools in the nation even today and they like to live up to that reputation as well, yet the students at the school seemed to have enough intelligence to do TIME MANAGEMENT.

Stop your whining. If you want someone to do all this research for you, go to answers.google.com and PAY some person to do it.

Personally, I think someone should PYDTS and ban you.

damn, i don't post on h-t too much anymore, but when i come back i can't believe all the clownage going on here...what you guys don't seem to realize is, you are just adding to the problem by creating useless posts that say search...when you search for a topic in the archives, you pull up some information, and then there's the threads where someone asks a question and all the responses he got were to search...i hate wading through all that garbage...well, i'd rather have a plethora of current information than some of the stuff in the archives, because, well, let's be real...turbocharging and the electronics behind the motors are becoming more and more sophisticated every day, as are the theories behind turbocharging...so by adding a post to a thread like this that says search, it just hinders people when they do go and search for a topic because all they will find are posts that say search...if you really wanted to be helpful to both the search function of this site as well as the user who posted this comment, instead of the two second thought process it takes to type in "search", you could have gone to the search feature yourself, looked up some useful threads that he should read about turbocharging, and then posted the links...instead you guys give it the little search post that adds to your post count so you think other people will respect you when you post...

I think common sense should tell someone that a turbo cannot add 700hp to an engine like the accord. MB has a 6.0l twin turbo engine that produces 600hp/740lb-ft. Yes I know even though it is AMG it is still "stock" to a certain extent, but it should make someone think realistically if an accord can really produce 700hp simply by tacking on a turbo.

As for post count, I've noticed that some of the people with the biggest post count numbers are the biggest sh*theads around.

Here's to help you out. You can probably get 200-250whp out of that f23a reliably unless you get a major rebuild which you probably dont have the $$$ or time to do.

There are turbo kits out there like Drag, Fmax that can probably give you 160-200whp. Most of them are equipped with t3/t4 which is large enough. But they give you shitty fuel management. They use FMU's or extra injectors like the FMAX. For good fuel management look into Hondata, or AEM EMS, etc... but they're EXPENSIVE! Or you can use a Apexi VAFC which tunes your air/fuel ratio, but advances timing which causes detonation, and detonation is bad for your engine.

If i were u, and have about $2-3k for a turbo kit, get a custom one with a t3/t4 turbo manifold, t3/t4 turbo, intercooler, bigger injectors (RC), custom downpipe, blowoffvalve, etc....

Anyways a good place to see turbokits and which products are decent is http://www.homemadeturbo.com do a lil research and u'll find a decent kit. Goodluck, just dont blow your engine!

thanks D21X.... by sayin i go to ORHS i wasnt tryin to say i was smart, i was sayin they give shitloads of hw which keeps me up till 2AM every day and im only a sophmore and it gets worse later on, there is no getting around it, i dont play videogames my parents wont let me buy any system, i am at ROWING 4 hours a day constatnly working out because i realize im not too hot in the "brain department" ... i dont spend my time in front of a TV or in frotn of a computer doing research on cars either, i came to this forum to get some input on cars, not to be bashed around and ppl telling me to search... if this whole search thing is true then what is the point of anyone asking any questions ehre? all youd have to say is "this has been discussed before, go search on it" wtf? about that 700 hp thing... i was acctually trying to do some research but obviously got the wrong info... if you had taken the time to read the origional post you would notice i says "they advertize a turbo charger with gains of 700..." that doesnt mean i believed it... it was a question. Sorry for not making it obvious with a question mark.

iLoveMyF22 should talk about retards...

anywho dont even bother with bolt ons for your accord. if you want to turbo, you could build a custom setup for slightly more than I/H/E if you shop around.

im sure you could do this if you took your time, planned things out, researched, saved up the money, etc.

bolt ons are a ******* waste on most accords... btw if youre running an automatic transmission, forget about boosting... start shopping for another car.
