If you are using the same transmission the axles will be the same, however, if you want to use an si tranny you will need si axles. The wiring shouldn't be too hard, just wire it for MPFI and buy a VTEC subharness.

or you can activate vtec through a toggle switch And all you need for the mpfi part is a si resitor box. You can use a teggy one if you like twinkies

EDIT: Isnt the 92+ trannys Hydro trannys?

or you can convert to OBD-1 and then all you need to do is throw away the resistor box and solder the wires together.

I think you should be fine w/ the axles that you have. unless they are bad

EDIT: I didn't go into detail about what all is needed but I do recomend buying a conversion harness it's TON's less headache and BlownHatch has very nice harness's + tech support is AWESOME.
also search for d16z6 that's how I found most of the stuff I needed to know

hope you were not reffering to me Ba4

sigh

please dont post up info about stuff u dont know about

if u have a si trans u dont have to have si axles

ALL D SERIES axles will fit into ANY DSERIES TRANSMISSION, so if u have a dx just make sure u keep ur dx axles

the only differnce is the outer splines for the axles if u buy si axles, because u got a si trans BUT U HAVE A DX,
ur a idiot wow u got it to fit into the trans but any d series axle will fit but then when u go to put it into ur hub then the si axle wont fit

notes: keep ur dx axles it will mate to any d series trans

i have the same swap, u can convert to obd1 like i did using a jumper harness and p28 ecu
items u need
obd1 ecu
4wire o2 sensor
obd0-91 jumper harness
and wireing up the injectors obd1 style if u choose

ALSO BE4 DOING ANYTHING U MUST CONVERT TO MULTI PORT SINCE U HAVE A DX HATCHBACK

and a toggle switch isnt really recommend, sure u can activate vtec but it wont add the extra fuel just turn it on

everythign from the z6 will work but u have to use ur old drivers side mount, aside from that wiring is the only hard thing but if ur good at wiring should be simple, the whole swap is cake and shouldnt be that hard sicne ur using all ur old parts hubs/shift linkage/mounts etc

good luck i love my z6 and when it hits the Vtec Its MaD LOuD YOoO!, im planning to boost mine

Yeah what he said. Let me know if you need help with the wiring. You can also search Mini-me, or D16z6, etc.
